Palletforce has launched the latest of its European delivery and import services with the addition of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland to its portfolio of European countries.

In addition to its continental services to Germany, Italy, Benelux, France, Spain and Portugal, Palletforce will offer customers an express palletised freight service between its 400,000sq ft hub in Burton-upon-Trent hub and individual countries in Scandinavia. Palletforce member Aeroship, part of the LEMAN Nordic Group, will operate the service.

"Our expansion into the Scandinavian countries represents the next stage of our European development strategy. It helps us strengthen our position as the leading palletised network in Europe, and allows our members to offer additional services to their customers," said Michael Conroy, Chief Executive Officer of Palletforce.

"I'm very proud that we have been able to launch another international delivery service as well as those already in place. It highlights that we are investing in Palletforce, keeping our services at the forefront of the industry. Our members are able to access the same services as their UK offering through Palletforce's existing IT platform, Alliance, allowing them to take advantage of opportunities throughout Europe.

The new Scandinavian service commenced in June and comes just over a year after forming Allnet, The alliance of networks. Allnet combines the collective strength of four quality pallet network, creating a strong, unified quality pan-European service, underpinned by our Alliance IT system. As a founder member of Allnet we have access to 18 hubs and 315 strategically-placed delivery centres covering 42 European countries
