Birmingham-based freight forwarding and logistics company International Forwarding Limited, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the business this July.

In just a quarter of a century International Forwarding Limited has grown from just three members of staff and a single vehicle to a business with a turnover of over £8 million, a staff of over 50 and offices in Birmingham, London and Dover.

The Palletways network member now handles over 200,000 consignments each year and has invested heavily in IT upgrades over the past year.

Commenting on celebrating 25 years in business, Roy Baker, original Managing Director and now part-time Director of International Forwarding Limited, said: "Remaining independent and putting the customer first have always been important factors for us and to be recognised for excelling in these areas by Palletways and award wins from the British International Freight Association, is testament to our commitment to this area.

"We have a loyal team at International Forwarding Limited who all share this vision and I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support in driving the business forward."

International Forwarding Limited is one of over 100 members in the Palletways UK network – Europe's largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network. The company's distribution networks are made up of independent transport companies who share each other's resources to deliver small consignments of palletised freight to the marketplace faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
