Flex Recruitment Plus Ltd (FlexPlus), the recruitment company operating in the UK logistics sector, has been acquired by NASDAQ quoted, US $1bn turnover Corporate Resource Services (CRS) Inc.

With the backing of the US recruiting and consulting company, FlexPlus is on course to grow from its current £20 million pa turnover to become a £100 million annual turnover operation in the next two years.

This period will see a series of exciting forthcoming developments for FlexPlus - and for the logistics recruitment sector. They include a July move into new premises to treble the available space for the company, which has been headquartered in Hinckley since 1993. Located within 'The Golden Triangle', FlexPlus' new building will be a logistics recruitment hub at the centre of the midlands-based logistics world. On a technical front, Flex will export its innovative online recruitment product, called  'iintegra' to CRS for use in the US recruitment market by Q3, 2014. More recruitment technology developments are also in the pipeline.

Commenting on the opportunities opened up by the backing of CRS, Adrian Hobbs, Managing Director at FlexPlus, said: "We are already an established operation in the UK recruitment sector with a vision to become the most sought after and indispensable employment service provider for the logistics sector through our range of employment related services. Together with our innovative technology, the backing of CRS will enable us to grow our UK operation rapidly while consistently delivering a first class employment service to meet the demands of modern logistics business. That means the rapid delivery of people, skills, recruitment tools and best fit employment solutions throughout the UK."
