New non-executive director at BiS Henderson

BiS Henderson, the recruitment and logistics consultancy, has appointed Stewart Oades as a non-executive director. Stewart is a prominent business leader within the logistics and supply chain sector having worked (working) at board level for some of the UK's top 3pls, providing services for many of Europe's largest retail and consumer goods organisations. As CEO of Christian Salvesen plc, Stewart led the sale of the company to Norbert Dentressangle in 2008 and has subsequently been engaged in a consultancy and advisory capacity for a number of leading organisations.

In addition to his advisory activities, which include an ongoing role with Marks and Spencer, he has a number of non- executive positions including ned of Palmer and Harvey plc and MW Brands sas. Stewart is a trustee of the charity Transaid and a board director and former President (2009- 2013) of the Freight Transport Association.
