European Conveyor Systems (ECS) has appointed Peter Lerigo, one of the UK's most experienced specialists in automated materials handling systems, as sales manager for southern England.
Peter has more than 20 years' experience in the materials handling industry, including roles with some of the leading automation companies. He is also the current president of the Automated Material Handling Systems Association (AMHSA). He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bradford and a Diploma of Business Administration from the University of Wales.
A key aim of the role is the promotion of the full range of Gebhardt intralogistics equipment including shuttles, miniloads and ASRS cranes in the UK and Irish Republic, building on the many years of ECS selling Gebhardt conveyor systems.
