Palletline is supporting 'Cycling Santas' – an 'eight day feat of festive endurance' in aid of children with neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.

Organised by Palletline's chosen charity, the Neuroblastoma Childrens Cancer Alliance (NCCA UK), the event sees volunteer 'Santas' swapping reindeer for bikes and pedalling more than 800 miles across England and Scotland to raise funds and deliver presents to children affected by neuroblastoma.

With help from supplier Allports Group, Palletline donated a special joint Palletline/ NCCA UK liveried van to provide support throughout the trip.

'Cycling Santas' coincides with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The fundraising event kicked off on Sunday 1st December in Exeter and is due to conclude on Sunday 8th December in Ayr, Scotland. A special 'Cycling Santas' drinks reception was held on 2nd December at the Langham Hotel, London to commemorate the occasion and thank all contributors. Among the guests was comic actor and popular TV & radio panellist Rob Brydon.

Maria Holmes-Keeling, Marketing Manager for Palletline, said: "We're happy to support such a worthy cause in any way we can.  This is a fabulous idea for the children and we're pleased to have played our part in making it a success."

Maria added: "We're looking forward to supporting NCCA UK in 2014. After Christmas we'll be helping to 'Bake a Difference' – a chance for the next Mary Berry or Paul Hollywood to sell their creations to hungry charity supporters. In May we've planned something completely different – an exhilarating money raising experience on the world's longest zip line. To support the NCCA UK and sponsor the Palletline team please email mariahk@palletline.com."
