Monsoon Accessorize, the global design-led fashion retailer, has announced the appointment of Allport Cargo Services to manage its sea and airfreight services on a global contract from May 2013.
The retailer ran a comprehensive tender process to ensure that they appointed a partner who could manage their worldwide operations.
Dawn Pine, Monsoon Accessorize's Supply Chain Director, said: "I believe Allport Cargo Services has the skills and experience needed to take Monsoon Accessorize to the next level."
Clyde Buntrock, Divisional Director of Allport Cargo Services, added: "We are delighted to have won the contract and be working with Monsoon Accessorize. We are keen to use our global experience to be working with this international provider to service their worldwide operations and feel we add real value to this well established brand".
Monsoon Accessorize now operates more than 1,000 stores in 74 markets, including 380 stores in the UK and continues to extend its international reach and develop its online presence.
