ByBox has teamed up with Nordic ID, manufacturer of Auto ID handheld terminals, to offer its customers the benefit of using a Tech Courier for onsite swap outs. ByBox specialises in delivering in-night pre 8am to a network of 1,500 locker locations across the UK but has extended its offering with the launch of its Tech Services Division, providing customers with a truly seamless service enabling them to strip further costs and inefficiencies out of their supply chains.
Nordic ID is an expert in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and provides mobile devices for professional use enabling customers to improve their inventory management, customer service, communication and supply chain control. By using the ByBox Tech Courier service, which operates 365 days a year, Nordic ID avoids squandering the precious time of its highly trained engineers on simple jobs. Instead ByBox' straightforward service for swap-outs and non-intensive installations, frees up its own engineers for more complex tasks.
In order to ensure the company's increasingly expanding Tech Courier operation continues to deliver an exemplary service ByBox has invested £400,000 in new IT equipment to ensure its team of 160 Tech Couriers are the best-equipped in the sector. Each of them has been issued with state-of-the-art iCourier tablets enabling them to refer to scripted instructions via their tablets.
