Vanderlande Industries was named as winner of the 'Supplier of the Year Award 2011' at the recent Postal Technology International Awards ceremony in Stuttgart, Germany.
Jan Hulsmann, Managing Director Distribution Parcel & Postal, received the award on behalf of Vanderlande Industries. "Being nominated for no less than two awards 'Automation Technology of the Year' with the crossorter 1500 and 'Supplier of the Year' was already a fantastic achievement", said Mr. Hulsmann. "Winning the 'Supplier of the Year Award' means customers are telling us that we are on the right track, and is a great reward for our dedication and efforts."
After the nominations, a judging panel consisting of the world's leading decision-makers in the postal industry named the award winners in each category. "The awards are designed to recognise innovation and excellence in the postal industry. The fact that a judging panel with such experts on board chose Vanderlande Industries as 'Supplier of the Year 2011' and being part of the list of winners is a real honour", said Mr. Hulsmann.
