West Midlands-based BIL Logistics has joined the Fortec Pallet Distribution Network. As part of its contract with Fortec the company, situated in Halesowen, is covering all the Dudley postcode area as well as parts of Birmingham. Established more than 20 years ago BIL Logistics has enjoyed successful year-on-year growth.
Today it employs a 30-strong workforce, operating out of a 20,000 sq ft, custom-built warehouse ideally situated right next to the M5 and M6 motorways. Over the past three years BIL Logistics has invested 1 million in expanding its fleet, upgrading its technology, increasing warehouse storage space facilities and stock control software.
Wilf Jones, Managing Director of BIL Logistics, said: "We did our homework with the many pallet franchises available but having met the Fortec team, visited its sites and built up a relationship with the staff first we took the decision to become part of the 'Fortec family'."
