National qualification provider NCFE is helping keep the country moving with a new suite of logistics qualifications. NCFE now offers Level 3 NVQ (National Qualifications Framework) in Logistics Management Operations, aimed at people looking to develop their knowledge of logistics management, improve their career prospects, or progress to further training.

Chief Executive of NCFE, David Grailey, said: "Logistics has been a huge growth sector in the UK for many years now, employing 363,000 people across a range of disciplines. Analysts predict the sector will need to replace around 70,000 employees by 2014 owing to older employees leaving the logistics arena . Our qualifications will provide an excellent grounding for people looking to get started in logistics, or hoping to build on their career."

The new qualifications satisfy the Quality Credit Framework (QCF) requirements from 1st August 2010 and will replace those previously available from NCFE on the NQF. NCFE is one of the UK's leading awarding organisations, developing and offering over 400 vocational and academic qualifications in a range of subjects. It works with 1,200 colleges, training providers and schools and prides itself on its ability to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service.
