JF Hillebrand recognised for customer care excellence

JF Hillebrand, logistics provider for the global wines and spirits industry, has been recognised for its excellent standard of customer care by the judges at the UK freight accolades, the IFW Awards. Winner of a number of Supply Chain Excellence Awards and named Logistics Company of the Year at the Drinks Business Awards 2010, JF Hillebrand has been shortlisted for the IFW 2010 Customer Care Award.



"We know that our standards of customer care are second to none, but it is always gratifying to have this verified by independent industry experts," said Rob Turvey, Managing Director of JF Hillebrand Supply Chain Management. "We are regularly recognised for the sophistication of our supply chain solutions and systems and the benefits they bring, but this nomination helps demonstrate that we are also dedicated to the highest levels of customer care. We make sure that we understand what individual customers need and then we work with them to deliver that."

JF Hillebrand works in close collaboration with its customers so that all stakeholders, from the vineyards to the end customer, benefit from greater variety of choice, better availability, shorter lead times, lower inventory and all at reduced costs. JF Hillebrand employs more than 1,500 professionals in 44 offices all over the world. The company reported a throughput of almost 268,000 containers in 2009 equating to 1.4 billion cases of wine. It has over 8,500 customers globally and processed almost 400,000 orders in 2009.

The winners of the IFW Awards will be announced on October 28 in London.
