Leading transport and logistics provider GEFCO has been brought on board by Kawasaki, the worlds leading industrial and technological business group, to provide a cost effective solution to UK warehousing and distribution of its motorbikes, jet skis, all terrain 4-wheel vehicles and power products that include hedge trimmers, grass cutters and strimmers.
The new contract has seen Kawasaki vehicles being delivered into GEFCOs logistics facility in Coventry where they will be stored under bond in a dedicated area. As a result of the new agreement, GEFCO has been able to increase its 2Wheeler network with new moffett vehicles. 14 vehicles, under which a combination of artic and 18 tonner vehicles will be used at peak times, making daily deliveries much smoother and quicker.
