Acumen Automotive Logistics to move London taxis through Ontime Automotive

Acumen Automotive Logistics Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Acumen Logistics Group, has been awarded a contract through Ontime Automotive for the movement and delivery of the iconic London taxi for LTI Vehicles, Britains premier manufacturer of purpose-built taxis. 

Acumen Automotive Logistics will carry finished vehicles from Coventry and deliver to LTI Vehicles distribution facility in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, on behalf of Ontime Automotive.  It will then transport the taxis to customers in London and other UK towns and cities.  Acumens fleet of specialist car transporters will carry around 2,500 taxis each year.

Part of Manganese Bronze Holdings plc, LTI Vehicles is recognised for giving the UK the black cab, the icon of the worlds best taxi system.  The first-ever black cab left the companys Coventry factory in 1948.  Since then, more than 100,000 vehicles have rolled off the production line.
