Clive Williams has recently joined Cargo Automated Storage Systems as Sales Director.
The UK manufacturer of lift storage systems, based in Oxfordshire, is keen to expand, and ex-Kardex UK Sales Manager Clive, certainly has the industry experience to make this happen.
With over 24 years in sales, and a phenomenal track record in achieving targets, Clive is looking to raise the profile of the Cargo Storage Systems, and promote the UK manufacture of the Cargo units.
Managing Director, Harry Handkammer, commented; Were delighted that Clive has joined us, he brings a wealth of knowledge as well a tremendous enthusiasm for the Cargo product.
Clive said; I was instantly attracted to the Cargo range because they offer some unique features not currently available in the Automated Storage market space and have the massive benefit of being manufactured in the UK at the Countax factory in Oxfordshire"
Cargo have been manufacturing storage lifts for 2 years, however the company behind the product has a much longer heritage of manufacturing and engineering, and in fact the Countax factory based just outside Oxford, has been manufacturing components and products from sheet metal for over 26 years.
The 100,000m site houses an impressive collection of manufacturing hardware, including laser cutters, hydraulic presses up to 250 tons, press brakes up to 4m long, robot welders, and an automated sheet metal processing machine which is the size of 2 tennis courts.
A team of CAD/CAM professionals, mechanical, electrical and software engineers with extensive manufacturing experience head an impressive Research and Development Department. In-house toolmaking facilities, paint line, state-of-the-art assembly lines and extensive warehousing complete the picture, and with over 250 people employed, Countax can clearly demonstrate the pedigree of its manufacturing prowess.
