V-SOL Vehicle Tracking wins new 30k order from longest standing client

V-SOL Limited, the real-time vehicle tracking company, is celebrating its 10th anniversary of working with Roalco, a specialist building maintenance company, and a new 30K order for the latest tracking systems from the company.

V-SOL first worked with Roalco in 1999, when they provided five tracking systems to help the company manage a new local authority housing maintenance contract.

Since this time Roalco has grown to now employ over 370 people across Kent, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire and South Wales, working with local authorities and housing associations to offer a 365-day/24-hour response repair service and other property maintenance services.

V-SOL now provides vehicle tracking support for over 140 vehicles utilised by Roalcos workforce.   The latest order will see a further 15 tracking systems installed along with a communications server to support multi users and wall mounted Plasma Screens in its new divisional office to aid the management of operations. These systems are to support a new maintenance contract for Ashford Borough Council.

Barry Cook, Finance Director of Roalco, commented: Ten years ago we looked at a few different tracking systems, but found V-SOL offered the best in terms of quality reporting and live tracking.  As weve grown vehicle tracking has become integral to our operations and success, and I can honestly say that we would not be doing what we are now if we didnt have tracking technology that worked every time.

We are able to control and manage our workforce, ensuring the best possible operational efficiency, while providing enhanced levels of security for all of the team in the field.  In addition, the accuracy of the V-SOL tracking means we have actually been able to challenge legal issues such as speeding fines and parking tickets by proving our vans were not in the area at the specified times.  Tracking needs to be 100% reliable to support this, and V-SOLs systems have never let us down.

The V-SOL tracking technology is used for a growing range of operational, management and reporting procedures, including monitoring the time taken at each call out location; staff security; and the most efficient deployment of Roalco personnel to meet emergency response times.

David Isom, managing director of V-SOL, added: We are proud to have worked with Roalco over the last 10 years, with our technology supporting their growth and success.  The latest order is a landmark in our own development, underlining the quality we provide to every customer in terms of service and technical expertise.

We are the only vehicle tracking company to design and manufacture all of our technology in the UK, ensuring the accuracy and quality of our reporting is second to none.   This is invaluable to companies such as Roalco, enabling them to rely on proven facts for both internal and external management issues.

V-SOL has been supplying live vehicle tracking longer than any other company in the UK, with companies ranging from EDF Energy to the Ministry of Defence relying on the accuracy and control offered by the companys systems.
