Premium express delivery company City Link has made a multi million pound investment in new vehicles to ensure it stays ahead of the pack. City Link, the leading UK express carrier has placed an order for 300 Mercedes Sprinter vans, specially-equipped for the fast-paced, time-critical industry.
The Sprinters will be used for the collection and delivery of parcels for Customers and will further boost the 3,500-strong fleet, replacing a number of older vehicles. Each one will be equipped with reverse warning systems and immobilisers, offering greater security and safety.

City Link, which this year celebrates 40 years in business, has a network of 100 depots, employs more than 6,500 people and operates a fleet of 3,500 vehicles. In recent months the company has also enjoyed a number of significant contract wins, invested over 2.5 million in an IT system and continues with its investment in its depot refurbishment programme and the opening of new depots.
