Bottle crate stacks up for PHS Teacrate

In response to customer demand, the latest addition to the PHS Teacrate family is green, a little under 14" tall and 'full of bottle'.

No, PHS Teacrate hasn't recruited a cheeky goblin but has extended its range of Returnable Transit Packaging (RTP) to include a new stackable wine and spirit bottle crate, the BC12.  The new product has enabled PHS Teacrate to secure an initial order of 1300 units from a leading UK convenience store chain.

The BC12 is suitable for transporting and storing up to a dozen standard wine, spring/carbonated water or spirit bottles and has been introduced by the UK's largest crate rental company as an alternative to cardboard packaging commonly used in retail, hotel, catering and homebrew markets. The stackable BC12 offers safe and sturdy storage and, as with the rest of PHS Teacrate's range of RTP crates and pallets, also considers two of today's main issues - cost and the environment.  The flexibility offered by PHS Teacrate's dynamic pooling means that crates can be supplied for peak demand yet won't be taking up valuable space and funds when not required. Each polypropylene crate is washed to food industry standards and re-used to lessen the environmental impact.

Michael Dalaimo, Commercial Manager for PHS Teacrate, says, "This addition to our range was made in direct response to a customer who was keen to replace their cardboard crates due to disposal and landfill costs.  We are the only UK supplier for this type of bottle crate and expect customers to see it as a complementary addition to other crates that they currently rent or buy from PHS Teacrate, making their sourcing process easier."  Currently available in green, the BC12 offers the opportunity for branding and bespoke colours on larger orders.
