At the 5000 m Pruszkw Logistics Centre of the Access Business Group 10 km outside Warsaw, Clinique, Lancme, Estee Lauder and other renowned cosmetics products are transported via the intelligent conveyor modules of the Interroll Intelliveyor.

The Access Business Group (a part of the Alticor Group that employs 13,000 people) supplies its high quality products not just to the B2B market for its parent companies Amway (direct sales with approximately 450 products) and the Web-based Quixtar, but also to other renowned companies throughout the world.
Besides cosmetics, the company's product range also includes vitamin and mineral products, domestic articles and water filter systems.

6000 packages are processed each day in a single shift at the Pruszkw Logistics Centre. Three fully automatic packaging machines prepare the three different box sizes for filling. Sensitive goods are packed separately. After leaflets and invoices are added and after the packages pass through the check weigher, the boxes (which weigh between 1 and 35 kg) are once again weighed accurately. If an error is detected, they are checked manually again. Otherwise, they are forwarded directly for sealing, and then on to dispatch. There, after being sorted by diverters depending on their destinations, the Access products finally reach the goods forwarding area, from where they are delivered as parcels to customers throughout Poland.

The project was completed based on a concept derived by the Access Business Group in collaboration with the system integrators Jater Sp.o.o., Regalpartner Construktor and Interroll.

Interroll Intelliveyor - the intelligent conveyor module - is designed to roll into action considering the reduction in component wear and energy costs. Each roller conveyor section is divided into zones, while each zone is a pre-installed conveyor unit with its own electronics and can be connected to other modules by means of plug-and-play functionality. Because less is really more, the Interroll Intelliveyor has done away with conventional external drive components. At the same time, the system offers greater safety for operators thanks to low voltage of 24V.
Being divided into several zones, each roller conveyor section is connected to a Z-Card. Thus all central functions can also be controlled via CAN-Bus and the TCP/IP network protocol.

Interroll products in use at Amway: Interroll Intelliveyor, Interroll Belt Curve, Interroll Conveyor Rollers and Belt Conveyor Modules, Interroll Carton Flow.
